DESCRIPTION Original vintage industrial cold-rolled pressed and folded steel travel trunk. Decades of journeys have given it a wonderfully distressed surface finish. In the old times traveling took days to weeks. They were used as a secure way to protect their belongings during this trip. These antique & distressed metal traveling trunks were often made with imported Belgium steel and fabricated locally under license. They all are spacious inside which is great for storage of magazines, books, collections and others. Nice to use as a display/statement item in houses or retail shops. Age is approx. 50 to 80 years old. Every iron trunk is unique and has different measurements, colour and details! Some have brass locks, rivets, paper tickets and even the names of previous owners.
